Pop-Up Care Villages

In partnership with local businesses, faith communities, and residents, we transform empty lots, parks, and community spaces into Pop-Up Care Villages, welcoming hubs of dignity and support created around each neighborhood’s unique needs. Guests can enjoy a hot meal, pick up clothing and essentials, receive a haircut, and connect with neighbors and services, all free of charge.

Each event is powered by community. Volunteers, barbers and stylists, healthcare providers, legal partners, outreach teams, and local organizations work side by side to meet people where they are. Everyone brings something different to the table, and together we create a space where care feels easy, friendly, and judgment-free.

For our guests, something as simple as a meal served with a smile or a fresh haircut can be the first step toward rebuilding trust and reconnecting with community. From there, we offer warm introductions to housing navigation, healthcare and recovery services, legal aid and record sealing, employment and benefits assistance, and other stabilizing resources.

What happens in a single day can start something bigger. A Pop-Up Care Village is more than an event; it’s a doorway, a moment to feel seen and valued, and a chance to take a meaningful step toward stability with the support of a community standing behind you.
