Make-A-Day Staff

Lindsay Barber

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Lindsay joins Make-A-Day after finding her heart in the nonprofit community in 2018. Having served as the Operations Director at a local food pantry, she learned so much about the unmet needs of our neighbors that she dedicated her career to making a difference. While experiencing poverty, the death of both her parents at a young age and mental health challenges, it was the kindness of others that gave Lindsay a chance to get where she is today. She hopes to pay it forward by providing the same kindness through Make-A-Day’s work.

Lindsay is a Cleveland native, but now lives in North Linden with her husband David and beloved rescue Pomeranian Harold. You’ll often find her with friends, either board or video gaming, engaging in a friendly debate, trying a new local restaurant or watching game shows.

Kenzie Brownfield

DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT & MARKETING

As Make-A-Day’s longest tenured employee, Kenzie has proudly served with the organization since she graduated from The Ohio State University in 2021. Having served in all capacities within Make-A-Day, Kenzie now plays a more behind-the-scenes role through fundraising, development, and marketing. She is incredibly passionate about the Make-A-Day mission, and is so pleased to serve the community she loves so much.

When she’s not grant writing or creating content for social media, Kenzie loves to snuggle with her fuzzy mongrels, Lily Belle and Tee, surround herself with all things pink and sparkly, and watch weird documentaries with her partner, Jake.

Wade Biglin

HOUSING RESOURCE SPECIALIST

An Ohio native and OSU Alumni, Wade is the newest addition to the MAD team as our Housing Resource Specialist. After years of volunteering in the Columbus community and seeing the gaps our most vulnerable fall into, he was drawn to help with the emerging housing crisis. Now you can find him at our events assisting those with housing instability in finding creative solutions to their housing problems.

When he isn't fighting for affordable housing, Wade enjoys scuba diving, video games, good books, woodworking, game nights with friends, and tinkering on bikes in the garage.
