Homelessness and housing instability are not just about a lack of shelter. They are about the accumulation of barriers that systems create and rarely help people clear: a missing ID that blocks every application, a benefits gap that makes rent impossible, a criminal record that closes every door before it opens. The Restore pillar is where MAD works those problems one by one, alongside the people living them.

MAD Solutions

One-on-one navigation that helps neighbors clear the specific barriers standing between them and housing, employment, and long-term stability. This is relationship-based, problem-focused work.

Winter Warming Services

Each winter, MAD places individuals with the highest barriers to housing in non-congregate hotel rooms, paired with intensive case management and housing navigation. In Winter 2025-2026, 73% of participants exited to Permanent Supportive Housing, more than double the county shelter average.

Healthy Aging & Stability

For older adults in affordable housing, stability is fragile. PEARLS provides one-on-one coaching that reduces isolation, builds coping skills, and connects residents to the benefits and supports that keep them housed.
