We need people that are willing to sit and chat with people and build relationships and be good listeners to learn about people’s stories and needs. In doing so, we hope that folks can gently, and without being intrusive, inquire about their needs related to healthcare, health insurance, criminal justice support, and any other social services they may need.

We need volunteers willing to help serve guests their meal and work with the host to notify each guest when their resources are available (haircut, medical, legal, etc). The goal is to give our guests a restaurant-like experience, but with a more personalized touch. We want our guests to feel seen, so be sure to try to remember names and faces!s here

Guests Escorts will work directly underneath MAD Staff/Ambassadors by escorting guests and community partners to their designated tables at the event. They’ll communicate the details that each will need directly to them once they’re seated.

A specific kind of volunteer who works directly with our guests to make them feel confident on the outside as well as the inside. Cosmetologists/Barbers/experienced hair professionals only for this role.

Help us set up the event by moving tables and chairs, hanging up signs, and organizing items.
